Learning outcomes
The student who completes the course is able to:
- demonstrate a broad knowledge of the biblical, theological, historical, contemporary and contextual backgrounds of apologetics;
- collect information from a variety of academic sources to inform a choice of solutions to various apologetical issues and challenges;
- develop an ability to be creative and reimagine apologetics for contemporary society by exploring the range of church, organisation and community contexts through which it takes place;
- use interpersonal skills to clarify, identify and resolve a range of evangelistic and apologetical issues;
- demonstrate time management, literary, IT and organisational skills by their ability to plan and present their assignments effectively
