Our Rector’s New Role

On 23.09, the European Baptist Federation (EBF) elected two new committee leaders at the annual meeting in Riga. Einike Pilli, rector of the Seminary, was unanimously elected as the chair of the Commission of Theology and Education. The election period lasts for 5 years and the heads of the commission are also automatically members of the EBF Executive Committee. Estonians are now represented there by two members – Helle Liht, the deputy general secretary of the EBF, also serves on the executive committee. In total, the EBF includes 59 member unions from Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia.
